What Does Wellness Mean to You?
A Mindful Approach to Midlife & Menopause

What does wellness truly mean?
Is it being fit and healthy?
Less stressed?
Happy?
Is it about having a well-planned day, taking your daily walk, or feeling like you’re in control?
Maybe it’s knowing you’ve finally booked that holiday, found a rhythm with your eating habits, or followed up with a therapist or health professional.
The truth is — all of these are valid, and all contribute to our sense of wellbeing.
But at its heart, wellness is about living in alignment with who we truly are. It’s when our choices, values and energy are working together. When we drift from that inner alignment, we can start to feel it—unease, anxiety, low mood, lack of motivation, even depression.
This is where coaching and mindful movement can be genuinely transformative: reconnecting you with your strengths, helping shift your mindset, and uncovering the habits and tools that support you in living more fully.
But what if you don’t know what you need?
That’s so common—and exactly where many women begin. Together, we explore what matters most to you, what might be holding you back, and how to make gentle, lasting changes that feel doable.
Often, it’s not about willpower or ability—it’s our mindset that gets in the way. That quiet (or not-so-quiet) inner critic who whispers that we’re not enough, or that it’s too late. And during midlife or menopause, when so much is shifting—hormonally, emotionally, physically—it’s no wonder we can feel a little untethered.
That’s why mindfulness is such a powerful foundation.
Instead of trying to master the whole week — or even the whole day—try breaking it down. Look at your day in three parts, and aim to “win” in just one.
Maybe the morning started off well, even if the afternoon was a blur. Maybe you indulged in a cinnamon bun with your coffee (joy counts!) but also made a nourishing dinner. These are wins. And when we notice them, we begin to build what I call an accomplishment mindset — one that keeps you moving gently forward.
And let’s not forget movement.

Moving your body — whether through yoga, stretching, dancing, or walking — isn’t just about physical health. It brings clarity, focus, breath, balance, and strength. These qualities ripple into every part of your life: decision-making, boundaries, relationships, and self-trust.
In yoga, even the simplest posture — like Mountain Pose — is a practice in presence. It’s not about how far you stretch or how perfectly you balance; it’s about how gently and consistently you show up for yourself.
My own journey hasn’t been a straight line. I’ve lived in multiple countries, faced depression, anxiety, IVF, postnatal challenges, divorce, and body changes. But those experiences also shaped my deep empathy, resilience and belief in the power of wellness—on your own terms.
With over 25 years of experience in body, mind and holistic health, I bring real-life understanding and evidence-based tools to support you. Whether you’re in the throes of menopause, navigating midlife transitions, or just feeling a little lost — it’s never too late to come back to yourself.
Because wellness isn’t a destination. It’s a way of living—with intention, compassion, and presence.
